The "General Practitioner with Virtual Reality" project—operating through the Meta Quest headset—delivers an immersive interactive experience that accurately and professionally simulates the work of a general practitioner. The project allows users to conduct a comprehensive clinical examination of a patient, including respiratory assessment, temperature measurement, throat inspection, and ear diagnosis, in full alignment with real-world medical examination standards and procedures.
The primary objective of this project is to enable students to gain practical, realistic exposure to the profession they are considering before committing to its academic study, allowing them to discover their genuine inclinations toward the medical field. Should they find their passion for it, they can confidently adopt it as their future career goal.
